“Very basic lodging motel/hotel. Good for sleeping and showering. Good TV and wifi connection. Fridge and coffee maker in our room. There’s a small kitchen for anybody to use which we didn’t have the chance to experience. Elevator was not working when we stayed. Ample parking both indoor and outdoor. SUGGESTIONS:1. please fix the elevator 2. If possible install shampoo/conditioner and body wash dispensers instead of small packets to avoid use of too many small plastics that can clog drains if not disposed of properly.”
“Me and my sister stayed for the weekend. They stay was great the stores near are very convenient and walking distance. Easy access to room and all the appliances. We definitely will be staying again.”
“Great price, easy check in! Was able to stay with my dog, and we booked last minute. The staff were super helpful and I was delayed on my drive in, so I got in later than expected. Their phone service for late night worked great. The building is a bit of a maze. Of course the room was run down but it was clean and tidy. The mini fridge did not work but I wasn’t counting on it bc other reviews had mentioned that. Access to the kitchen area was fantastic. It has a sink, toaster oven, microwave, water filter, etc. The neighborhood is what I was most worried about. It’s not the nicest but more “working class run down” than outright dangerous. I walked around a bit, even at night, and no one messed with me, but I’m not sure I’d make a habit of that. The other guests at the hotel were chill and again, the staff were amazing. Great little Arabic grocery nearby with some fun things to try. Not sure how I feel about the digital locks esp bc they make noise when you open them, which everyone can hear and I worried could indicate the code itself. I wish they’d make part of the check in, telling you: “This is a new code, changed after every guest””
“I want to express my SINCERE GRATITUDE to the staff at The Inn Pittsburgh! The elevator was out of service (I was aware ahead of time) and I was traveling with my elderly parents. Our rooms were located up two flights of stairs and there was no way my mother could walk that many steps. Despite there being availability on the lower floor, Expedia WOULD NOT let us change rooms! Kristi at the front desk did backflips to accommodate us…(including making a call to the owner)…she was kind and compassionate. She had housekeeping prepare a room for mom and dad, checked in with us regularly to see if we needed anything. You don’t get this kind of treatment from a luxury hotel! The Hotel: It’s old, in need of updating and repairs. That being said, the rooms were clean, the sheets smelled fresh, the towels nice and white. You get what you pay for! If you are looking for a budget friendly place to lay your head at night, you can’t go wrong! DO NOT BOOK THROUGH EXPEDIA…book directly. Thank you again!”
